Two days sleep until we’re finally road trippin’! I haven’t been on holiday for quite a while. This makes it actually more exciting making me feel restored into the time.
It reminds me a bit of my first holiday when I was a kid and I couldn’t wait to get to the beach to wear my butterfly swimsuit, eat oreo cookies 24/7 and dive into a massive tub of pistachio ice cream (which actually made me sick, bedridden and hate pistachio until today). As you may have noticed I have had a successful photo shoot last Friday. I was really happy how it turned out and I can’t wait to share the pics with you guys. But for now, I am enjoying the London heat wave, a mix of breeziness and humidity. Perfect to enjoy a chilled beer in the shadow.
How We Road Trip
Let’s talk about The United Kingdom right? As mentioned last week I’m spending a few days off in England with K. and my “frog dog” Grace. Since we wanted to take Grace with us on holiday flying wasn’t really an option. Instead, we came up with the idea to go on a road trip, stay in cottage houses and discover the diversity in British beer culture. Sounds fun too, right?
Besides binge eating and lazing around we are really excited to explore Great Britain in general; including the beautiful national parks, mother nature and cultural assets outside of London. To get an idea where we are actually heading, the map below might be cool to check out.
Starting off from London we planned our first stop in Cambridge. Along the east coast, we are going to the West to visit the surroundings of North Wales including the stunningly beautiful Snowdonia Park. Next Bath, which is on top of my list because of the old Roman thermal spas, followed by Bristol, legendary Oxford and finally Stonehenge before heading back to London. All in all, I think we have thought through the route very well. Keeping you guys up-to-date on the blog with images and guides as well – Don’t forget to stop by next week for more ;)
