Eco Fashion – Back to Black

Eco Fashion – Back to Black

Recently I’ve been standing in front of my closet and asked myself „Do I have a good and warm coat?“- The answer was clear and I knew what was coming next won’t be easy at all.

Shopping winter jackets is something I don’t really like because it’s really hard for me to find the one that suits my figure perfectly. In first place winter jackets are generally thick in material and come with good isolation to keep you and your body warm- Design comes last, sorry girls. The sad truth is when I have to put them on I look like a marshmallow! Somehow, I knew there was no other way to survive the final winter weeks without a good winter jacket.

Eco Fashion – Eco Girl!

As you already know, I’m kind of an online shop addict. I spent most of my time in front of my notebook searching for new stuff to buy. This fall I read a lot of blogposts that made me think about the eco fashion thing and its benefits and I decided to keep an eye on that. I made a find and ended up shopping at an US online shop, that also offered free international shipping to my country. As part of the eco fashion world, Reformation sells a lot of great pieces every day- most of their stuff is sold out within hours. This winter jacket was my lucky find and I decided to order it on Black Friday to get some extra discount. I had some doubts about the jacket, because it is very 90s! It is made of rayon blend and deadstock materials, that are over-ordered fabrics from Fashion houses and would normally go to waste. I like the idea of recycling and the basic thinking behind eco fashion. It has a smooth satin touch and comes with quilted detailing and front pockets. Lovely little hearted piece! Now that I finally have it all doubts are gone and I wear it almost seven days a week.

How do you think about eco-fashion? Would you buy more eco-friendly stuff?
